The UK is expected to drive the upcoming projects across oil and gas value chain in Europe, accounting for about 25% of the total projects which are likely to start operations by 2025. Oil prices soared on Thursday, fuelled by upbeat forecasts for global economic growth published earlier in the week. Furthermore, a weaker dollar and a fall in U.S. gasoline inventories also lent support to the market. Brent crude gained 2.6 %, or $1.73 to settle at $69.63 a barrel. At the same time, the American WTI crude, rose by 2.5%, or $1.58 to end at $66.02 a barrel.
