On Wednesday, the Bulgarian customs officials has withdrawn the license of the country’s biggest oil refinery, called Neftochim, which is controlled by Russia’s giant, Lukoil.

BP awarded two deepwater blocks in Trinidad and Tobago
According to BP’s announcement, the British giant was awarded new exploration and production rights off the eastern coast of Trinidad and Tobago, giving it a 100 percent interest in two deepwater blocks, identified as 23(a) and TTDAA 14.

IEA’s decision to halt oil release pushes Brent up
The International Energy Agency (IEA) announced on Thursday that it will halt to release emergency oil reserves, after the global energy regulator put 60 million barrels of oil on the market in the bid to bring oil prices down that made the prices increase at $120 per barrel, following disruptions of Libyan supply.

Russian-British TNK-BP to acquire 45% stake in Brazil deposit
The Russian-British joint venture TNK-BP is in talks with Brazil’s Petro Energia to buy 45% in an oil and gas deposit in Brazil's Solimoes region for $1 billion.
