Shell will search for oil and gas in block offshore Bulgaria
Bulgaria has chosen Royal Dutch Shell to perform deepwater oil and gas exploration off its Black Sea coast and intends to ink an agreement by the end of October, expecting that the project will aid reduce its dependence on imports from Russia.

Russian PM rejects oil tax increase, since gas fee rise is envisaged
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has rejected demands to increase the mineral extraction tax (MET) for oil producers, as stated by a government spokeswoman on Monday, while a source told Reuters a gas output tax raise was being envisaged instead.

OPEC forecasts oil as high as 80 $/bbl by 2020
OPEC forecasters are assuming that oil prices will increase gradually to reach $80 a barrel by 2020, as supply growth from group non-members weakens. This is on average a $ 5 increase per year.

Russia to ramp up oil output in 2015
