Austria, Croatia, Bavaria team up for Adriatic LNG project
In a bid to reduce dependence on Russian gas, Austria, Croatia and the German region of Bavaria announced an energy-political partnership during a visit by Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehammer and Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder to Croatia’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in the northern Adriatic.

Germany inaugurates first new LNG terminal
The German government inaugurated its first floating terminal on Tuesday (15 November), built in record time and intended to receive liquefied natural gas as part of Berlin’s plan to replace Russian gas, with the first regasification ship set to dock in mid-December.

Russia's Rosneft to pay $3.6 bln in first nine-month dividend
Russian state energy company Rosneft said on Monday it plans to pay a dividend on its nine-month results, the first such payment in its history, which is expected to total 216 billion roubles ($3.6 billion) and to boost the nation's budget.
