Renault's EV unit Ampere teams up with LGES, CATL on battery technology

Daily (01.07.2024): French and German year-ahead power contracts soared on Friday tracking bullish carbon prices

Oil prices ended rather flat on Friday, after hitting their highest level in nearly two months, as traders continued to question the health of global oil demand. Consequently, Brent crude settled at $86.41 a barrel. WTI crude ended slightly lower at $81.54 a barrel.

EU countries not implementing power market reforms

The European Commission is taking infringement cases against 21 EU governments, for failing to adopt reforms to the electricity market as agreed in 2019, which are necessary to allow the grid to accommodate new renewable and electrical devices.
