Italy approves green subsidies for 4.6 GW in new technologies

The subsidies for 4.6 GW, approved by the European Commission in early June, are part of the so-called Fer 2 legislation. It has set incentives for both floating and fixed offshore wind plants, thermal solar units, geothermal plants, biogas and biomass facilities, as well as marine plants powered by tidal waves, according to a copy of the signed decree.
