Switzerland moves to remove ban on new reactors
The Swiss government has said it will seek to lift the country's ban on the construction of new nuclear power plants, which has been in place since 1 January 2018. It said all clean energy sources will be needed to meet expected electricity demand while also meeting climate targets.

Switzerland aims to curb winter gas use 15% in line with EU target
Switzerland’s cabinet passed a measure on Wednesday recommending the country cuts its gas consumption this winter by 15% compared with the 2017-22 averages to bring the country into line with the gas saving goals of EU countries.
