Oil prices fell on Thursday, on continued concerns over global demand. Consequently, Brent crude edged 0.6% lower at $43.53 a barrel, while WTI oil settled 0.8%, or 13 cents, down at $41.12 a barrel.

Crude prices edged higher on Wednesday, as hopes for a Covid-19 vaccine outweighed OPEC’s announcement to revise down its global oil demand outlook for 2020 and 2021. Hence, Brent oil ended 0.4% higher at $43.80 a barrel, while WTI crude saw a marginal increase of 0.2%, closing at $41.45 a barrel.
