Oil prices slipped on Friday, following the release of unfavourable U.S. economic data and the prospect of abundant production in the coming months. Brent crude fell by 0.5%, closing at $79.04 per barrel, while WTI crude dropped by 0.4%, settling at $75.56 per barrel.
