PGE delays closure of 0.9 GW Rybnik coal plant to 2027
Two of Rybnik’s currently operating units will be used until the end of June 2026 and the other two will still be operational in 2027, PGE said after its CEO Dariusz Marzec met with state asset minister Robert Kropiwnicki and strategic infrastructure minister Wojciech Wrochna.

Oil prices fell slightly on Thursday despite the OPEC+ alliance's decision to postpone its production increase by a quarter, as traders minimized its perceived impact on supply. Brent crude closed at $72.09 per barrel, while WTI crude edged down at $68.30 per barrel.
