Oil prices, which initially rose on Wednesday due to geopolitical risks and the upcoming OPEC+ meeting, reversed their course and ended lower. The world's two crude oil benchmarks initially gained ground after another attack on a ship in the Red Sea. However, the pressure from rising US bond yields took precedence, leading to about a 1% loss for both Brent and WTI Crude, which settled at $83.60 and $79.23, respectively.
