PVH tapped to supply over 200 MW of trackers for Spanish solar project

Spanish solar mounting structures manufacturer PV Hardware (PVH) has been selected to supply more than 200 MW of trackers for a solar farm project in Salamanca province, Spain.
The company said on Monday it had secured the order from Indian solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd, which is making its European debut with this project.
Sterling and Wilson will build the plant, known as Armadura Solar, in the municipality of Villarino de los Aires. Investor in the project is Italian renewable power producer Eni Plenitude SpA, which broke ground on the 220-MW solar farm a month ago.
PVH will provide Sterling and Wilson with its Monoline+ 2P solar trackers. These trackers will carry more than 350,000 solar panels.
Armadura Solar is expected to be fully operational by 2025.
