Taaleri SolarWind 3 Fund allocates funds to a photovoltaic site in Finland.

The Taaleri SolarWind 3 Fund has made an investment in the 129MW Hallanvahti solar park in Finland.

Located in Joroinen, about 300km northeast of Helsinki, the project has achieved a ready-to-build status, with construction underway and full operations anticipated by mid-2026.

Developed by Etec Automation alongside its subsidiary, 3Flash Finland, and the Taaleri Energia team, the Hallanvahti project will feature bifacial panels and single-axis trackers, with an estimated annual electricity output of roughly 140GWh.

This production is sufficient to power approximately 18,000 homes and is expected to help reduce around 29,300 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions each year throughout its operational lifespan.

Eltel Networks has been contracted to provide engineering, procurement, and construction services for this endeavor.

In June 2024, the solar park was awarded a grant of €17m from Finland's Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, covering up to 20% of the actual capital expenditures.

The rest of the financing will come from equity and senior debt.

The Taaleri SolarWind 3 Fund is a renewable energy fund managed by Taaleri Energia.

Petri Isotalus, the investment director at Taaleri Energia, stated: "We are thrilled to announce this investment.

The Hallanvahti project signifies a strategic entry into Finland's solar photovoltaic market."

The Taaleri SolarWind 3 Fund aims for a size of €600m and will remain open to new investors until June 2025.
