The results of the Romanian wind tender have been announced.
Qair, Rezolv Energy, and Eurowind Energy have obtained contracts for difference (CfD) in Romania's latest renewables auction.
The auction granted 15-year support contracts for 1096MW of wind energy and 432MW of solar projects.
The ten wind projects achieved an estimated weighted average price of €65 per megawatt-hour, while the eleven solar projects were priced at €51/MWh, as reported by the Ministry of Energy.
Qair was awarded a CfD for the initial 50MW phase of a planned 100MW wind project in Constanța, Romania.
"We are delighted to receive this award, which acknowledges the significant efforts and commitment of our local team. This success is a crucial milestone in the expansion of our operations in Romania and demonstrates our capacity to adapt to new markets," stated Charles Lhermitte, president of Qair Renewables and COO of Qair Group.
