Daily (06.07.2023): Oil prices continued to rise on Wednesday as Saudi Arabia and Russia mull extending voluntary supply cuts
Crude oil prices notched a small increase on Wednesday amid the news of further cuts from Saudi Arabia and Russia. However, worries over a slowdown in the global economy and further hikes of interest rates have limited the rise. Hence, Brent crude edged 0.5% higher at $76.65 a barrel. Meanwhile, WTI crude rose by 0.7% to end at $71.79 a barrel.

Major banks yet to match EU with nuclear green label
None of the world's 30 major banks have explicitly included nuclear energy in their criteria for issuing green or sustainability-linked bonds, researchers said on Thursday, despite an EU decision last year to label it as sustainable.

UK's National Grid and SSEN in JV for 2 GW electricity transmission project
Scottish and Southern Energy Networks (SSEN) said on Tuesday it had signed a joint venture agreement with Britain's National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) to build a 2 gigawatt (GW) subsea cable linking northern Scotland to England.
