Wind power in Tarragona, eight wind farms

In Camp de Tarragona, energy developers have presented 20 projects to build new wind farms. Sixteen are concentrated in Conca de Barberà (some shared with Anoia and La Segarra) and the rest in Baix Camp, in Vandellós-l’Hospitalet de l’Infant. The Renewable Energy Report, which makes a first screening of viability, has given eight the green light and has rejected eight.

Equinor plans $2 billion Breidablikk oilfield development

Equinor EQNR.OL and its partners in Norway's Breidablikk oil discovery have agreed on an 18.6 billion Norwegian crowns ($1.95 billion) development plan for the North Sea field, the state-controlled company said on Monday.

Daily (25.09.2020): German power spot hiked by over 8% on Thursday due to weaker wind generation

Crude oil futures finished slightly higher on Thursday, buoyed by tighter U.S. crude supplies, while the alarming comeback of the pandemic in Europe restrained gains. Hence, Brent crude edged 0.4% higher, to settle at $41.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, U.S. WTI crude rose by 1%, to end at $40.31 a barrel.
