Daily (24.06.2024): Gas prices dropped on Friday on the back of easing supply concerns

On Friday, oil prices retreated, weighed by a strong dollar and weakening economic activity in the Eurozone. Nonetheless, investors remain vigilant about the geopolitical risks in the Middle East. Hence, Brent crude edged 0.6% lower, reaching $85.24 a barrel. WTI crude slipped by about 0.7% to settle at $80.73.

Daily (21.06.2024): Oil prices extended gains on Thursday amid stronger demand and escalating geopolitical tensions

Oil prices gained further ground on Thursday, spurred by a surge in US demand for refined products, as well as a tougher geopolitical context. Hence, Brent crude rose by about 1%, settling at $85.71 a barrel, while WTI crude increased by about 1% ending at $81.29.
