European carbon emissions have increased a little

The price for European carbon emissions for December delivery increased by 0.4% to arrive at 15.31 euros a tonne on Wednesday, while the price for certified emissions reductions for December delivery raised 0.6%, attaining 13.47 euros a tonne, establishing a spread of 1.84 euros between EUA and CER.

Plans to build LNG terminal in the Dutch port cancelled

Vopak, Dutch oil and chemicals storage company, together with the gas transport society Gasunie and the utility Essent, have cancelled the plans to build an LNG terminal in the northern part of the Dutch port Eemshaven with a storage capacity of 2 tanks, or 180,000 cubic meters capacity.

U.S. crude inventories increase more than estimated

Last week, US crude inventories increased by 4.8 million barrels, much more than estimated, or 1.1 million barrels, whilst the stocks of the products dropped, as stated by American Petroleum Institute on Tuesday.

Oil production in Russia decreased by 0.8%
