One of Africa’s largest oil producers, Equatorial Guinea, signed five concession deals, two of which were with Russia's Gazprom Neft that declared in June that they were hoping to sign a production-sharing agreement with the African nation for two oil offshore blocks.

A new solar plant in California.

The solar photovoltaic facility will be constructed in three projects that will start this month with a capacity of 45 megawatt and for a total sum of $220 million. This project appears as California regulators voted last week to raise the state’s renewable energy objective to one third by 2020.

Russia and China make a 150 billion dollar deal.

The number one producer of crude makes a deal with the number two consumer worth about $150 billion over the next 20 years. This deal comes as the pipeline ESPO (East Siberia to Pacific Ocean Pipeline) was finished, which has a capacity of 300,000 barrels per day and a length of 925 km.
