Oil was up above $82 per barrel on Monday, gaining for a second session as the U.S. currency weakened. The dollar dropped, as low as hitting a 15-year low against the yen. At 11:30 GMT, U.S. crude for December increased at $82.35 per barrel, while ICE Brent climbed to $83.50 per barrel.

Transitgas pipeline to be reopen at the beginning of December

The southern branch of the Swiss-Italian Transitgas pipeline could be reopened in mid-November, after being shut down in July 23, because of a fall of rubble.

The EU limit on greenhouse gas emissions increased by 5.8%

The European Commission revised up the limit on greenhouse gas emissions from heavy industry it will apply in 2013, announcing on Friday, a level of 2,039,152,882 tonnes of carbon dioxide, which is 5.8% higher than the provisional level of 1.927 billion set by the Commission in July.

Oil prices were up above $81 per barrel on Friday, because of a dip in the dollar index stoked buying for commodities. At 13:35 GMT, U.S. crude futures increased at $81.44 per barrel, while ICE Brent increased at $82.92 per barrel.
