Japan Could Restart Nuclear Reactor Damaged In 2011 Disaster

A local governor in Japan has approved plans from utility Tohoku Electric Power to restart one of its nuclear reactors that was damaged in the 2011 earthquake and the following tsunami, the same that caused the reactor meltdown at Fukushima.

Daily (12.11.2020): Carbon prices hold above the €26 mark amid strong technical selling and profit-taking

Crude prices edged higher on Wednesday, as hopes for a Covid-19 vaccine outweighed OPEC’s announcement to revise down its global oil demand outlook for 2020 and 2021. Hence, Brent oil ended 0.4% higher at $43.80 a barrel, while WTI crude saw a marginal increase of 0.2%, closing at $41.45 a barrel.

UK oil and gas output to take hit as drilling slumps to lowest since 1970s
