Daily (30.08.2021): New record high above 59 EUR/t for carbon prices on Friday, supported by a strong energy complex

Oil prices climbed to a new record high for 2021 on Friday, supported by supply disruptions in the Gulf of Mexico, as well as renewed optimism over demand. Brent crude rose by 2.3% to $72.70 a barrel and WTI oil ended 2% higher at $68.74 a barrel.
