Daily (14.09.2022): Oil prices retreated on Tuesday, as concerns about the state of the global economy continue to dominate on the market

Crude oil prices declined, snapping a three-day rebound on Tuesday as U.S. consumer prices unexpectedly rose in August. Hence, Brent crude for November delivery settled 0.9% lower at $93.17 a barrel. U.S. WTI crude for October delivery lost 0.5%, to end at $87.31 a barrel.

Portugal ranked 4th for renewable energy in Europe

According to the most recent figures of the Portuguese Association for Renewable Energies (Apren), in the month of August, Portugal produced 46.8% of its electricity from renewable power sources, earning for itself a fifth place in Europe and forth, if the cumulative energy stock for 2022 is counted. Portugal, in 2022, was able to produce 54.6% of its energy from renewables. This result is lower than Norway, Austria and Denmark which reach respectively 99%, 80% and 77%.
