Chris Huhne wants simpler tariffs for UK’s consumers

During a Lib Dem conference last week, Chris Huhne, the UK Energy Secretary, has pledged to stop the big six energy suppliers from charging millions of customers expensive rates, saying that the government wants “simpler tariffs” and requiring all energy companies to inform customers whether they could buy more cheaply on another tariff.
