ABB has won orders estimated at approximately $900 million from a conglomerate including leading utilities Statnett and TenneT as well as promotional bank KfW to provide on-shore high-voltage direct current (HVDC) converter stations and the cable system in the German sector that will ease the first ever interconnection between the Norwegian and German electricity grids.

Egypt: 35 cargoes of LNG to be imported from Russia's Gazprom
Russia's Gazprom has signed an agreement to aid supply Egypt with its first liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports, as declared by the oil ministry on Tuesday, in a deal that could be estimated at approximately $1 billion at existing market prices.

Daily: Oil prices rebound by 6% after Federal Reserve move
Crude oil prices soared as much as 6 percent on Wednesday as the dollar depreciated after the Federal Reserve changed the market's direction, choosing a more gradual modality to normalizing U.S. interest rates. Benchmark Brent oil registered choppy moves earlier, while U.S. crude prices eased after figures indicated the highest oil inventories in the United States in at least 80 years. Brent rose by $2.40 or 4.5 percent to settle at $55.91 a barrel. WTI boosted $1.20, or almost 3 percent, to close at $44.66 a barrel, and above $45 post-settlement.

Gassco annuls Oseberg field outage, resumes Vesterled flows
An earlier announced unexpected outage at Norway's offshore Oseberg field was annulled, leading to a restart of gas flows on the Vesterled pipeline, as stated by the gas system operator Gassco on Thursday.
