Daily (18.04.2024): Oil prices tumbled by over 3% on Wednesday, weighed by rising US inventories and easing war fears
Oil prices tumbled on Wednesday, dragged down by signs of restraint from Israel in its response to the Iranian attack, as well as a further unexpected jump in US crude inventories. Consequently, Brent crude stood at $87.29 a barrel, while WTI crude reached $82.69 a barrel, with both contracts dropping by around 3% day-on-day.

Daily (16.04.2024): Day ahead power contracts rocketed on Monday amid low renewables
Oil prices fell slightly on Monday as the Iranian attack on Israel appeared to be less destructive than anticipated. Brent crude decreased by 0.4% to $90.10 a barrel, while WTI crude experienced a 0.3% drop to settle at $85.41 a barrel.

Daily (27.03.2024): European Cal’25 power contracts lost ground on Tuesday amid bearish gas and carbon prices
On Tuesday, oil prices were rather stable to bearish, driven by a sharp price decline in refined products, following the restart of refineries in the United States after a maintenance period. Brent crude decreased by 1% to $86.25 a barrel, while WTI Crude slipped by 0.4% to $81.62 a barrel.
