Consortium of Italian banks provide €995m for F2i to acquire 333MW portfolio from RTR

A consortium of banks has provided €995m to finance the acquisition by F2i of a 333MW portfolio of solar farms in Italy from RTR.

The banks included Banca IMI, Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, ING, BBVA, Societe Generale, BNP Paribas, UBI, Banco BPM and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti.

 

International law firm Ashurst advised the lenders. The Ashurst team was led by partner Carloandrea Meacci, supported by associates Nicola Toscana and Paolo Gallara and counsel Fabio Balza.

Daily (15.01.2019): Brent crude dipped by 2.5% on weak China import-export data

Oil prices dropped on Monday as China reported weakening import-export data, which added to persistent concerns about a global growth slowdown. Brent crude plunged by 2.5% to $58.99 a barrel, despite support from OPEC-led output cuts. WTI futures slumped by around 2% to settle at $50.51 a barrel.
