Serbia: Additional biomass plants to be added to Boljevac pellet facility
The Serbian company Bioenergy Point will build a facility worth 2 million euros and a biomass power plant worth additional 7 million euros in addition to the existent pellet factory in Boljevac.

China to limit coal consumption by 2020
According to the energy sector's five-year plan for 2016-2020, released currently by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration, the stake of coal in the country's energy mix should fall below 58 percent. Last year, coal accounted for 64% of primary energy.

Gazprom: Ukraine has a gas debt of 5.3 billion USD
Russian gas conglomerate Gazprom had charged Ukrainian energy firm Naftogaz with a $5.3 billion bill for gas the country received in the period 1 to 16 June under a take-or-pay clause.
